About our Lower Primary
At La Salle Catholic School, our Lower Primary Section offers a vibrant, engaging, and nurturing learning environment specifically designed for pupils in Grades 1, 2, and 3. We recognize that these early years are a critical period for laying a strong foundation in academic skills, fostering social development, and instilling important moral values rooted in our Catholic faith.
Our thoughtfully designed curriculum encourages curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning. We achieve this by blending structured lessons with interactive, hands-on activities and play-based exploration, allowing students to actively engage with their studies while developing problem-solving skills and self-confidence.

Focuses on building basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills, while encouraging students to explore their environment with confidence.
Expands on the foundations laid in Grade 1, introducing more complex concepts in reading, mathematics, and critical thinking, while promoting collaboration and independence.
Prepares students for the transition to more advanced subjects by enhancing their problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and understanding of the world around them.
